Everything you need to read the terminal in five minutes.
Getting started
Create an account. You get 7 days of full access with no card. Open Opportunities, pick a trade size at the top, and turn on My exchanges so you only see venues you hold accounts on.
Reading the table
- Pair: the coin and strategy.
- Route: where to buy, where to sell.
- Net $: estimated profit at your chosen size, after costs. n/a means the book can't fill that size.
- Max size: the largest size that still nets positive.
- Age: how long the signal has been live.
Rows update in place and hold their order, so numbers never jump under your cursor. New signals wait behind the "N new" pill. Click it to re-sort. Click any row for the full route.
Verified and Caution
A row is Verified only when every check passes with real data:
- Fresh: both quotes were read recently.
- Executable: net is positive after taker fees at a real size, with at least $50 fillable.
- Same asset: the two legs are the same coin, confirmed where the venues publish it.
- Transferable: deposits and withdrawals are open on a shared chain, or no transfer is needed.
- Persistent: the signal held across several updates.
- Realistic: the price is near the coin's median and the net is believable.
If a check can't be confirmed, the row is marked Caution and the drawer tells you why. The table shows Verified only by default. Use Include Caution to see the rest.
How net is calculated
Net starts from the gross gap at the real depth, then subtracts taker fees on both legs and transfer cost. Exit cost, the price of reversing the position today, is shown separately in the drawer. Net is an estimate. Your fills and timing will differ. Fees default to each exchange's published base rate: set your own under Taker fees in Settings and the table and drawer follow it. Alerts and the API stay at published fees.
Strategies
- Spot: buy on one venue, sell on another.
- Spot-Perp: hold spot against a short perp.
- Perp-Perp: long one perp, short another.
Filters and templates
Trade size, min net bps, min arb window, My exchanges and strategy tabs are always on screen. Advanced filters add coin whitelist and blacklist, buy and sell venues, lifetime and minimum size. Save any setup as a template. Filters follow your account across devices.
Every route shows in real time. Min net bps and Min arb window only choose which ones you see. Net reads at your trade size, so a route that can't fill it never passes. The arb window is the average of the route's last 100 windows, so a route that matches shows the moment it opens. History is not a promise. Routes with no history stay visible unless you turn off Include routes with no history. Matrix counts the Verified routes live at each pair of values, and choosing a cell sets both filters to it and everything better. API clients pass minNetBps and minWindowSec.
Alerts
Every account starts with the default alert, with nothing to fill in. Connect a destination and it starts: Verified routes as they open at 25+ bps on $1k with an average window of 1m+, and Verified new listings. One alert per coin an hour, and at most 6 an hour across all your destinations. Past that they are skipped, not saved up. Turn it off on the Alerts page.
Custom rules are optional. Add a destination on the Alerts page, then build rules: coins, venues, strategy, min net bps, min arb window, min size. Rules cover Verified signals by default. Each rule fires once per signal, then waits out its cooldown. We cap deliveries per user, so nobody gets spammed. Each rule's min net bps and min arb window are checked on our servers for every channel, and alerts go out as a route opens. Routes with no history are skipped unless the rule includes them. A route repeats at most every 5 minutes, even on a shorter cooldown. The Fast, Safe, Funding and New listings presets add a ready rule in one click, and you can edit it like any other. A rule can have quiet hours in your timezone, which skip alerts rather than save them up, and can tell you once when a spread it alerted on closes. A New listings only rule fires once per listing rather than once per route. Telegram delivery is coming soon. Starter also has ntfy and email digests, and Pro Desk adds Slack. Setting each one up.
- Free: no custom rules and no delivery.
- Starter: Telegram, coming soon.
- Pro Desk: Discord. Telegram coming soon.
- VIP Quant: all of that, plus raw JSON webhooks. These work with Zapier and Make.
- Trial: the same as VIP Quant until it ends.
Trade tracking
On Pro Desk and up, press Track in a signal's details to save your size and entry spread. The Tracked page shows the live spread with estimated P&L and funding. We never see your fills, so these are estimates at quoted prices. Funding is summed from published rates while our alert worker runs. Pick a destination to get alerts when the spread reaches your target, funding flips, a settlement is near where the venue publishes it, a leg goes stale, or the route leaves the feed.
Webhooks
Custom webhooks receive a plain JSON POST over https. Private and local addresses are refused, and redirects are not followed. Failed sends retry with backoff. After repeated failures we pause the destination and tell you on the Alerts page. Send test delivers a payload marked TEST.

}opportunity is the full row, including legs, net figures, transfer and status. window is at the rule's trade size: how long the route has been open, and its average window and peak net over its last 100 windows, null with no history yet. A test sends "type": "alert.test", "test": true and a fake coin named TEST.
Every custom webhook has its own signing secret, shown once when you create it. We send X-ArbitrageX-Timestamp (unix seconds) and X-ArbitrageX-Signature, which is sha256= plus the hex HMAC-SHA256 of timestamp.rawBody. Verify it on the raw bytes, and reject timestamps older than 5 minutes to stop replays:
import { createHmac, timingSafeEqual } from "node:crypto";
export function verify(rawBody, headers, secret) {
const ts = headers["x-arbitragex-timestamp"];
if (!(Math.abs(Date.now() / 1000 - Number(ts)) <= 300)) return false;
const expected =
"sha256=" + createHmac("sha256", secret).update(`${ts}.${rawBody}`).digest("hex");
const given = Buffer.from(String(headers["x-arbitragex-signature"]));
const wanted = Buffer.from(expected);
return given.length === wanted.length && timingSafeEqual(given, wanted);
}Dedupe on id, because a retry repeats it. You are responsible for anything you automate from these events.
See webhook recipes for connecting alerts to your own tools.
Payload examples for 3Commas, Hummingbot, Cornix and TradingView-style receivers show how to map these fields into each tool. See execution tools.
History
The Proof Log page reads back through saved signals and their spreads by date. Free reads 14 days, Starter 30 days, Pro Desk 1 year, and VIP Quant and the trial everything we hold, which starts when logging began. Pro Desk and above can export both to CSV. Spreads older than 30 days keep fewer points, with their peaks.
API
VIP Quant includes a read-only API over REST and websocket. Create keys in Settings, then see the API reference.
Plans and limits
Free shows the top 10 opportunities 15 minutes behind, the funding board and wallet rankings. Starter is real-time spot. Pro Desk and VIP Quant cover every strategy. See pricing. VIP Quant has 3 seats: the owner invites up to two people by email from Settings, and each gets the full plan while the owner has it.
Wallet rankings and past results are open to every plan. Open positions, recent trades and following start at Starter, which follows 10, then 50 on Pro Desk and 200 on VIP Quant. Any plan can remove a follow.
Every plan can watch on-chain wallets on 18 chains and get an alert on their transfers: 3 on Free, 10 on Starter, 50 on Pro Desk and 200 on VIP Quant.
We never hold funds and never ask for trade-enabled API keys.
